As Joshua spoke to the children of Israel, he reminded them of their responsibility to share testimonies of how they trusted God. He reminded his hearers that there would come a day when generations would inquire about what God meant to them in times past. The generations to come will ask the question, “What mean these stones mean.” The question is personal, predetermined, and prompted. What do these stones mean to you? The generations will ask the question, and our solemn responsibility is to respond.
